[Update] As pointed out by many users the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 also had the ability to play user created mods. I was unaware of this when originally writing the article. I do not currently have a sword to throw myself upon, but when I get home I will order one and make sure that my life is ended quickly for this mistake. Sorry [/Update]
Video game modding has always been something very unique to PC gaming. The ability to add mods to a game will often sway gamers to the PC version of a game over its console incarnations. As time has gone by more and more console games have included simple level editors and added the ability to share your own content with friends on-line but none of this comes close to the modding scene for the PC. This could change with Dragon Age: Origins.
