It that time of the week again where we take a look at the top ten selling PC games on Valves Steam service.

Here’s the results for the week ending the 10th of October 2009.

1 <Stay> Left 4 Dead 2 (Pre-order)

2 <New> Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

3 <Up> Borderlands (Pre-order)

4 <Stay> Risen

5 <New> Empire: Total War – The Warpath Campaign

6 <Re> Empire: Total War

7 <Down> Aion Standard Edition

8 <Down> Aion Collector’s Edition

9 <Down> Left 4 Dead

10 <New> Cities XL Limited Edition

So the biggest news this week is that Counterstrike has been pushed out of the top ten, but will it make a return next week?  Only time will tell.

New entries this week include Operation flashpoint: Rising dragon, the Empire Total War DLC, The Pathfinder campaign and Cities XL Limited Edition.  Leaving the charts this week include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Resident Evil 5, Counterstrike and FEAR 2.  Aion standard and special editions are still holding onto the charts, but we will just have to see if they can keep it up.   And lastly the only re-entry this week was Empire Total War, which has not been in the sales chart since the end of June 2009.
